Hi, Dr. Bob here.
As a long time urologist, I see men everyday with sexual problems, including premature ejaculation. I recommend The Ejaculation Trainer program as an alternative to medication because I have seen my patients experience tremendous results after using it, it is relatively inexpensive, and there are NO side effects.
I created this free site as a reference for those who are experiencing early ejaculation. If you can't find the answer you are looking for on these pages, please email me and I will try to help you.

Hi Doctor Bob here….

Premature Ejaculation or PE is actually a very common phenomenon affecting up to 40% of men at least once in their life.
If you are not sure what characteristics make up PE, here are a few telling signs:

  • The man’s ejaculation occurs in a minute or less of vaginal penetration the majority of the time.
  • The man is incapable of delaying ejaculation on vaginal penetration the majority of the time.
  • The man experiences personal consequences which are negative including frustration, misery, and sexual intimacy avoidance.

Treatments vary on prolonging ejaculation. Some of the most common methods are:

  • Sexual therapy-masturbating two hours before a sexual encounter can often remove a portion of the anxiety.
  • The squeeze method—Famous sex researchers Masters and Johnson developed this technique which involves the partner squeezing just below the glans (head) of the penis to stop ejaculation.
  • Antidepressants-A side effect of antidepressants is delayed ejaculation.
  • Medication-There are many topical creams on the market which can numb the penis.

However, there are problems associated with all of these solution including expense, embarrassment, not wanting drugs in your system, etc.

If you find yourself, ejaculating sooner than your partner or you wish during sex and would like help prolonging ejaculation, talk with your doctor. Many men feel they can cure this problem on their own, but soon discover it’s impossible. Most likely, you will need treatment to achieve a healthy and satisfying sex life.

Does anyone really know what causes premature ejaculation?  Well, the short answer is no. Most researchers will agree that it is actually a combination of factors.  However, there is also a school of thought that anxiety or stress may be the real villain.   Nevertheless, my patients don’t care what is causing it; they simply want to prevent premature ejaculation.  A main component of my treatment consists of reducing anxiety or stresses to not only improve your sex life but other areas of your existence as well.

With that in mind, let’s visit the idea of lowering anxiety to help with ejaculation control.

Men must first lower performance anxiety before attempting sexual activity.  Premature ejaculation is linked with infrequent sex, thus oftentimes the male can become extra aroused and excited when the opportunity for a sexual encounter presents itself.  However, this can also happen to a male who is a frequent sexual partner.

The fear of failure can also lead to performance anxiety and early ejaculation.  Once a man has “failed” in a sexual encounter for whatever reason, it will often become a precursor of worse things to come.

Another stressor for men is penis size and/or body image.  Many men simply struggle with embarrassment over their physical dimensions and are unable or even unwilling to perform sexually because of this.

So what can you do?

Well, common techniques include things like imagery, meditation, or even hypnosis.   You can use imagery to create a scenario in your mind of a positive sexual experience, including your interaction with your partner, and the behaviors that you would partake in.  This is simply called a positive mental attitude and works in every area of your life.

Communication is also often overlooked as a viable exercise in anxiety reduction.  Especially in the case of married couples, communication is key.  Talking with your partner may be embarrassing but it can often time result in the “get it off my chest” syndrome which brings immediate mental relief.  Other options are to seek advice from friends, relatives, or licensed physicians or mental health professionals.

Lowering your anxiety level will without a doubt help with premature ejaculation.  Start removing the stressors from your life today.

Are you a man who has visions of prolonging ejaculation?

You can only imagine the myriad of stories that I have heard from men desperate to try anything to last longer in bed.  We are men after all and simply don’t want to be deflated sexually or embarrassed in front of those we love.

Here are a few things that you can try:

In the Far East, there is a herbal cream remedy that has enjoyed above average results for users.  The cream is applied to the penis before sexual activity.  The result is the penis is desensitized which leads to less incidence of premature ejaculation for the man.

Unfortunately, the cream is not yet available in the U.S but the male may use a combination of lidocaine creams or anesthetic agents and experience a similar effect in many cases.

Another premature ejaculation treatment that is very popular is the “pause and squeeze” method developed by Masters and Johnson, the famous sex researchers.  In this method, the partner squeezes the area just under the glans (head) of the penis when the male is getting close to ejaculation.  This should not hurt, but should not be comfortable!  When the male no longer feels an impending need to ejaculate, the stimulation can continue.

This method takes time and practitioners should be patient.  Eventually, most couples experience some level of improvement in their sexual lives.

Some doctors are quick to prescribe drugs for men who are looking to prevent premature ejaculation.  The most common application is from the family of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).  These drugs are normally used as antidepressants and can be a beneficial premature ejaculation treatment.  However, often men experience a polar problem after choosing this option; the inability to ejaculate.  There is also a litany of side effects with antidepressants.

Prolonging ejaculation is normally a goal for all men, not just those suffering from PE.  It is imperative that you choose the correct option and enjoy your sex life as God intended.
